BELOW: "Built in 1931, the Yunlin Hand Puppet Museum was once the Huwei District Office. It's a courtyard house with a 2 1/2-story wooden structure, the oldest of its kind in Huwei. In 1990, the office relocated and the building was idle for some years. It wasn't until a cultural festival in 1997 that people were made aware of this historic site. Today, it is the Yunlin Hand Puppet Museum, which is divided into various sections that showcase glove puppetry, puppet theater, Huang Hai-tai, the old prison, special exhibits and live performance."
